About This Activity

Kuta and Legian beaches have introduced more beginners to surfing than almost anywhere on earth, and for good reason: consistent mellow waves, warm water, and a sandy bottom make them the perfect classroom. Your certified instructor provides a 30-minute beach session covering board handling, paddling technique, and pop-up form before guiding you into waist-deep water for your first real waves. Most beginners stand up within the first lesson. Boards, rash vest, and wax are all provided. Private and small-group sessions available morning and afternoon. More advanced surfers can arrange guided sessions at nearby breaks including Seminyak and Canggu.

Important Notes

info Sessions run at 07:00 and 14:00 daily. Private lessons available on request for faster progression. Kuta and Legian are suitable for absolute beginners; intermediate surfers can be directed to Canggu or Seminyak breaks.
